THE LAW OFFICE OF LISA A. LANDOLT strives to provide a number of hours each
month of free or low cost services in the area of Entertainment Law, including
contract matters, business transactions, and literary services. The availability of
specific services may vary depending on time limitations, income restrictions,
literary guidelines, or the location of the potential client.

LITERARY SERVICES
Lisa Landolt strives to provide low cost services to authors who have written
manuscripts, screenplays, or other materials with a Christian focus, background, or
foundation. Whether it is an obvious message or simply an implied setting, we
encourage literary endeavors that bring God back into everyday books and
entertainment. Services provided on a low cost basis may include:
Authors interested in the low cost literary services are encouraged to submit an
email message with their query and include 1) a summary of their project; 2) details
of the specific literary service that is needed; and 3) the circumstances that make Pro
Bono services applicable. Literary Services do not include legal advice, which is
considered for Pro Bono representation separately (see below).
The determination for representation is made on a case-by-case basis and may be
limited by time requirements, the type of assistance that is needed, and literary
guidelines. The information on this website is for informational purposes only, and
no attorney-client relationship exists until a written agreement is signed by both
parties. Authors of all faiths and backgrounds are encouraged to inquire about the
low cost literary services.
LEGAL SERVICES
Lisa Landolt strives to provide a number of hours per month of low cost or free legal
advice and services to low income or struggling authors, artists, and models.
Eligibility for a discount or for free legal advice is based on need, the type of
assistance, the time required, the availability of other resources, and other factors.
Authors, artists, and models should submit an email message with a statement that
includes 1) the details about their project; 2) the specific legal assistance that is
needed; and 3) a detailed explanation of the financial circumstances that make Pro
Bono services necessary. Services provided at a low cost or free basis may include:
- Contract review, drafting, or negotiations
- Legal advice, counsel, and representation regarding disputes
- Intellectual Property matters including copyright, releases, and
permissions
- Mediation
- Other services will be considered upon request
The decision to represent an author, artist, or model will be determined on a case-by-
case basis. The information on this website is for informational purposes only and
does not constitute an offer or any type of legal agreement. No attorney-client
relationship exists until a written agreement is signed by both parties. Legal advice
may be provided to Texas residents and will only be provided to residents of other
states by association with an attorney in their state. Limitations apply based on
the type of assistance needed, the time required, and the availability of other
